SHSM: ICE Training

Work with our Education staff members to develop your key question and see how we can support you and your students! 

Program Description

Our SHSM programs allow your students to gain a certificate for participation in a three-hour workshop as required by the Ontario Ministry of Education.   

Need a community partner for your innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship training?  Fill out a registration form and our Manager, School Visits will be in touch to see if Harbourfront Centre can support you! 

Please note:  Harbourfront Centre is happy to support your ICE workshop as a community partner but does require one or more of the teachers attending to introduce and facilitate the ICE gears and related activities with your students. 

Program Objectives

By the end of the SHSM: ICE Training program, students will:

  • Be introduced to Harbourfront Centre, our public programs and our place in the arts and culture landscape.

    •  

  • Be presented with a “real world, industry-specific challenge” that Harbourfront Centre is facing.

    •  

  • Explore the ICE gears, as supported by the visiting teachers for this program.
