Special Program – National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
How can we demonstrate a personal commitment to reconciliation through artistic expression?
Program Description
Please note: registration for this program is now sold-out and full.
Harbourfront Centre is committed to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s 94 Calls to Action. We continue to provide various educational opportunities to support you and your students in building connections to the cultural and artistic expression of First Nations, Métis and Inuit cultures. In September, our programming will focus on Canada’s history of residential schools and the ongoing intergenerational impacts. This full-day printmaking program will allow students the opportunity to make a personal commitment to reconciliation as the foundation for their visual artwork.
Please note: this workshop will be facilitated by Indigenous and non-Indigenous staff members working collaboratively within the classroom space.
