The vocabularies of unfamiliar dance forms are fused with contemporary dance and classical ballet. With The Sacrifice, dancers study Tswana dance and its rituals, a dance form native to Botswana used for storytelling and healing, in relation to the wildly different musical work of Igor Stravinsky’s, The Rite of Spring.
