Overview
Why does the value of nature come from a capitalist culture?
Why has nature become a disposable product?
Why overlook or downgrade nature?
“Look at me!”, created by Elfy Castro will celebrate nature’s perfect design that took millions of years to create. Elfy, explores research questions by experimenting with natural materials from rocks to fibers.
The design/art installation will consist of several pieces of furniture, from a lamp to a console. It will be a showcase where the viewer will be transported to the “empire of nature” governed by beauty and aesthetics.
