Klezmer Kids

Winnipeg’s Klezmer Kids are happy to be making their Toronto debut at this years Ashkenaz festival. This vibrant group of young musicians has been making music together for four years. They play with both humour and soul. The Kids’repertoire includes wonderful arrangements of traditional tunes created specially for the group by Marilyn Lerner, Sid Robinovitch, Glen Buhr, Jeff Presslaff and Daniel Koulack. The Klezmer Kids are: Michael Etkin – piano, Zac Johnson – flute, Max Becker Golden – bass clarinet, Max Fraser – bass, George Bajer – Koulack drums, Mischa Decter, Ameena Bajer Koulack and Daniel Koulack - violins.
