1 May to 15 October 2009
If you want to dock your boat at Marina Quay West seasonally from 1 May to 15 October 2009, please contact the Marina Quay West office. For dockage at Marina Four, contact our corporate office. Slips other than for small dinghies or PWC's are not likely available in Marina Four in 2009 due to a slip lose as a result of the construction of the new Waterfront Toronto WaveDeck. Slips may be available at Marina Quay West
Those interested will be placed on a contact list. Depending on the timing of your inquiry, slip availability may or may not be known. Once available, slips will be assigned to new applicants based on suitability of boat size. We will then meet with you to complete a Marina Agreement and confirm the available slip.
Resident boaters must obtain a Toronto Port Authority Power Vessel Operators Permit. Please refer to the Toronto Port Authority for details.
In addition, as of September 15, 2009, operators of pleasure craft fitted with a motor and used for recreational purposes must have proof of competency on board at all times. Proof of competency can be shown through provision of a Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC). Details may be found at Transport Canada Office of Safe Boating.
You can obtain both the required Toronto Port Authority Power Vessel Operators Permit and a Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) through our Harbourfront Centre Sailing and Power Boating operation located within the Nautical Centre. Visit qqy.ca for course details.
Please note that both of our marinas were designed for smaller sized boats. As a result we are not able to accommodate many very large boats. If slips become available they will likely be for boats under 32 feet in length with beams of less than 11 feet.
