Welcome to Toronto’s leading arts centre on the shores of Lake Ontario!
This year, Harbourfront Centre has redesigned its programming for our school visitors to better reflect current times. We’ve implemented a palette of new programming through an array of artistic disciplines, offering you and your students an enriched visit to our beautiful site.
New programmes include: Music and Theatre Explorations, Mapping, Social Justice and more. Most of our elementary programming is fully adaptable to secondary school programming.
All year long, Harbourfront Centre offers programming that reflects the diversity of Canada’s most multicultural city. Your students are exposed to leading contemporary artists and cultures from South America, Africa, the First Nations and beyond.
Each visit includes a component of our spectacular 10-acre sight on the shores of Lake Ontario. From our outdoor Artists’ Gardens to our renowned contemporary galleries and performance spaces, your students will be inspired not only by our accessibility but also by the magic of the natural setting - in downtown Toronto!
Our programmes are an excellent complement to your in-school exploration of the curriculum, providing the alternative, contemporary, educational experience that only Harbourfront Centre can offer. We encourage you to mix and match half day programmes to create a full day programme tailored to your needs.
Rediscover the magic of Harbourfront Centre!
Respectfully,
Taborah Johnson, Co-ordinator, School Visits
