Roberto Linares Brown has worked with various orchestras such as Valentin Y los 10 del Caribe, Orquesta Azucar Negra, Adalberto Alvares y su son and has travelled to over 20 countries including the United States, Canada, Italy, France, Switzerland, Denmark, Austria, Japan and Mexico. Brown is a master of mixing the roots of Cuban music with the sounds of new Latin music, effectively integrating elements of many musical styles such as salsa, reggaeton, son, jazz, rumba and cumbia. His 2008 solo release Que No Se Pierda La Essencia was released to rave reviews internationally.

According to Mister Bryans' hugely popular Cuban music blog, Vladimir Aranda "…cuts a rather distinguished figure on the dance floor with his trademark cap and sunglasses…a very serious teacher trained in all the ballroom styles plus Afro-Cuban, cha-cha, casino and casino rueda."
